While the free-play playgroup is usually encouraged, children might enjoy a special event now and then. Here are some suggestions. Holidays are obvious reasons to celebrate. Why not host a Halloween costume party, Easter egg hunt, Christmas/Hanukkah grab bag?
If the sun’s shining, take the fun outside. Plan to meet at a park, playground or zoo and BYOS (bring your own snacks).
Host a potluck lunch.
